Let’s look at the conclusion first
Manual dragging won't lock you back into your old position. After letting go, the AI will wait for new evidence of speech within the currently visible range. Please read a short paragraph continuously from near the focus line. Once the match is stable, it will continue from the new position.
Operation steps
- Drag or swipe quickly across the text to reach the target paragraph.
- After letting go, first look at the complete sentence near the focus line.
- Start reading naturally from the currently visible script, trying not to just say one or two words.
- Wait for the prompt to return to the normal AI Follow state before continuing to read.
- If you still can't find it, adjust the position a small amount forward or backward, and then read it again from the beginning of the sentence.
Why doesn't it move immediately?
Old recognition results may still be returned when dragging occurs. The app temporarily isolates these old results to prevent the page from being pulled back to the position before dragging; it only moves forward when a reliable match is obtained at the new position. This brief pause comes from interaction isolation, not a failure to scroll.
