How to resume prompting from the last reading position

When you open the same document again, you can return to the last saved reading position, or you can return to the beginning with one click.

Let’s look at the conclusion first

The app saves the most recent text the focus line crosses for each document. Full-screen prompting, normal Floating Prompting and floating AI Follow share this position; when the same document is opened from any entrance again, the text will be realigned to the focus line of the current interface. Manual page turning, normal prompting, pausing or exiting will update the position. If you want to re-record, click the Return to the beginning of document button at the top.

How to use

  1. Open a previously used document from the home page and enter full screen or Floating Prompt.
  2. Check the text that the focus line passes through to confirm whether it is the position you left last time; the same text will still be restored when switching to teleprompter mode.
  3. When you need to continue, start directly; when you need to start from the beginning, click the Return to Beginning button at the top, and the saved position of the document will be immediately reset to the beginning.
  4. If the target paragraph is far away from the current position, you can manually drag the text; after the sliding stops, the final focus line text will be used as the new position.

Notice

The reading position is convenient recovery information and is not the same as the exact recording breakpoint. When the font, rich text font size, window size, focus line height, or screen orientation changes, the number of lines displayed around the same text may be different, but the target text will still align with the current focus line. When the text has been edited, the app will use the context near the original location to try to retrieve the original sentence; if the original sentence has been deleted, it will return to the closest safe location.
