1. Parties and acceptance
This agreement is between you and Shenyang Tiandingxing Network Technology Co., Ltd., the operator of Tdx Teleprompter, and applies to its macOS app and related services expressly offered under this agreement.
Tapping Agree and Continue or using account, membership, or payment services means you have read, understood, and accepted it. If you decline, local scripts, editing, and basic Auto Scroll remain available.
This agreement, the Privacy Policy, Membership Agreement, Refund Policy, and checkout description form the service rules. A supplement controls only its subject and cannot reduce statutory consumer rights.
2. Services
The app provides script creation, editing, grouping, search, hotwords, reading position, fullscreen and floating prompting, Auto Scroll, countdown, mirroring, looping, and display controls.
Recognition, speech-follow and scrolling run locally. Models and engines serve the features available in this version. Online feedback, referrals and purchases are not available; private script sync follows the eligibility, consent and pause conditions below.
Features vary by app/macOS version, device capability, permissions and distribution channel. Descriptions and screenshots help explain the product; they do not promise perpetual availability of a free feature, specific interface or particular result.
Professional private sync shares script text, titles, formatting, cues, outlines, hotwords and groups between compatible clients signed in to the same account. It runs only while the script list is in the foreground, no editor is open, and this device has not paused sync. Account and device eligibility, document-format limits, cloud capacity, content checks and allowance apply. Network, review or storage failure is not successful sync. Concurrent body edits are preserved as conflict copies. Safeguard unsynced local changes; permanent cloud deletion cannot be undone.
3. License and intellectual property
While you comply, we grant a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to install and use the app on a compatible device you lawfully control.
The app, website, brand, interface, code, documentation, model arrangement, and supplied content belong to us or lawful rights holders. Open-source components remain under their licenses.
Except where law permits, do not copy, rent, sell, sublicense, redistribute major components, circumvent protections, alter signatures, distribute malicious builds, remove notices, or misleadingly claim authorization.
4. Accounts and security
Available pages may let you choose phone-code, password or recovery flows. Declining registration/sign-in does not stop basic offline features. Unavailable third-party sign-in does not collect authorization material.
Use only accounts, phone numbers, and devices you control. Protect devices, accounts, verification codes, and sessions; do not impersonate, disclose a code, or transfer an account.
End unauthorized sessions and contact us if you discover an unknown sign-in, binding, order, or device. The responsible party bears loss caused by voluntary sharing or inadequate safeguards; we remain liable for our fault under law.
Any future third-party sign-in will identify the platform and processing. Changes to that service may affect sign-in but do not automatically delete local scripts.
5. User content
You retain lawful rights in scripts, hotwords, images, and other content you create, import, or enter. Local use does not transfer ownership to us.
You must have authority to use content and must not infringe intellectual property, personality, privacy, personal-information, trade-secret, or other rights. Recording, streaming, speaking, and publishing remain subject to law and platform rules.
If you choose to send issue material to support, permission is limited to responding, troubleshooting and resolving disputes. Ownership is not transferred and unrelated publication, advertising or commercial distribution is not permitted. There is currently no automatic diagnostic upload or reward-material submission entry.
6. Acceptable use
Do not use the service for unlawful content, infringement, unauthorized access, attacks, malicious code, bulk registration, trial abuse, forged orders, or circumvention of membership, device, or security limits.
With reasonable evidence of unlawful, fraudulent, or dangerous conduct, we may warn, limit an API, remove a device, suspend or terminate an online account, preserve records, or report as required.
Where legally permitted and safe, we provide an explanation or appeal route. Enforcement does not remove legal liability.
Feedback reward tasks are not currently offered. If introduced, their rules and necessary material will be explained before participation; installation does not enroll you.
7. Free and paid features
Local script editing and basic constant-speed prompting require no registration. Account/entitlement conditions for other available features will be clearly stated at their entry. Reading this agreement makes no purchase.
The current macOS app has no store-purchase entry and creates/submits no store transaction. Any future paid service will disclose the product, price, term, renewal and refund rules before confirmation and follow applicable store/legal rules. Statutory consumer rights are not excluded.
8. Privacy and data processing
Personal information is handled under this version's Privacy Policy. Local editing and speech-follow run on this Mac, with no current script, microphone audio or diagnostic upload. Online account use requires your choice of an available entry. Permissions are requested only for dependent features; denial does not affect independent basic features.
9. Referral rewards
The current macOS app offers no referral rewards and does not enroll you through installation, sign-in or reading. Any future offer will show its rules before participation without affecting existing statutory rights.
10. Changes and interruption
We may update the app, interface, or features for security, compatibility, fixes, law, or business. Material effects are announced reasonably except urgent security or legal action.
Device faults, updates, network outages, maintenance, third-party failures, security incidents, or force majeure may interrupt service. We take feasible recovery measures. Obtain the app from official or trusted sources and install security updates.
11. Limits and responsibility
Reasonable safeguards do not guarantee uninterrupted, error-free operation or every-device compatibility. AI results may vary with accent, speed, noise, script differences, and device performance.
The app assists expression and is not medical, legal, financial, safety, or other professional advice. Verify results before decisions affecting people, property, or major rights.
The responsible party bears liability for breach, infringement, or misuse. We remain liable for our intent or negligence under law, and no non-excludable right is excluded.
12. Minors
A minor should read and accept under guardian guidance, use the service moderately, and avoid unnecessary personal information.
A child under 14 needs guardian consent before an account or online feature that provides personal information. Without valid consent, use only local basic features. Guardian consent is required before a minor purchases.
13. Termination and deletion
You may stop using or uninstall the app. Container, Keychain or backup data may remain under macOS settings; uninstalling is not account deletion or a guarantee that all local data is erased. Deleting data or keys may prevent recovery; keep necessary copies.
You may sign out or request deletion. A seven-day cooling-off period applies. Once effective, deletion or irreversible anonymization occurs and remaining membership expires, but local scripts are not automatically deleted.
A serious legal, contractual, or security violation may result in lawful online restriction or termination. Prior rights and surviving intellectual-property, responsibility, dispute, and retention terms remain.
14. Amendments, law, and disputes
Revisions show a new publication date and take effect on that date. Material changes are prominently announced and renewed acceptance is obtained where required.
Mainland China law governs formation, validity, performance, interpretation, and disputes. The parties should negotiate first; unresolved disputes may go to a court with jurisdiction or another lawful channel.
An invalid term does not affect the rest; delayed exercise is not a waiver, and headings are for convenience.
