Let’s look at the conclusion first

AI only searches for positions in the text within the current screen each time, as well as in the natural segments that are not fully displayed at the top and bottom of the screen. Other natural segments that are completely outside the screen will not participate in the matching, so there is no need to specify the "skip lines" in the settings.

Three ranges

Natural paragraphs are determined by explicit line breaks in the document, and automatic line wrapping on the screen does not count as new natural paragraphs. Font size, color, and bolding will change the layout of the text, but not the original text position used by the AI.
