Why does Floating Prompt show a system status notification?

The current version does not request notification permission. Android may still show foreground-service status while Floating Prompt runs.

Key point

If Floating AI Follow offers a Remote phone microphone option, the other phone can scan the host QR code and explicitly enable its microphone. This path needs overlay permission on the host, but no host microphone or accessibility permission. The accessibility and host-microphone instructions below apply to local capture only.

The current version does not show a notification-permission request. Android may still display foreground-service status while Floating Prompt runs. This is the system indicating an ongoing service, not another permission request.

Access actually required

Floating Auto Scroll needs display-over-other-apps access. Floating AI Follow also needs microphone access and the Accessibility service. The app does not request notification permission.

End the system status

End the current prompting session from the floating window or Tdx Teleprompter. Hiding a system notification does not close the floating window or revoke overlay, microphone, or Accessibility access.

Note

If the floating window does not appear, check display-over-other-apps access. If Floating AI does not follow, also check microphone access and Accessibility.
