How to extract a script from a public video link

Parse one supported public share link, extract its script, then review and edit the result.

Key point

Parse one supported public share link, extract its script, then review and edit the result.

Steps

  1. Open Tools > Link to Script and paste one public share link, or share text containing exactly one link. Link parsing and media retrieval require network access and login.
  2. Tap Start Parsing, sign in if prompted, and check the returned platform, title and available source.
  3. Tap Extract Script. Review any mobile-data confirmation; use Wi-Fi for large media when possible.
  4. Keep the page running while it fetches, checks and processes media. Once prepared, link media continues automatically; do not switch pages and start a second task.
  5. Review the result, optionally in full-screen preview, then tap Edit Script to open the newly created local script. Correct names, numbers, punctuation and paragraph breaks.

Options, limits and troubleshooting

  • Current supported inputs are public single videos from Douyin, Xiaohongshu video notes, Bilibili single-part videos and Kuaishou. Image posts, galleries, Bilibili multipart or paid/member content, private/deleted links and unsupported platforms are excluded.
  • The current limits are 20 minutes and 300 MB per media file. Use shorter content to reduce waiting. Process only content you created or have the right to use.
  • Extracting a script does not save temporary media to the gallery. Download Video saves only when available and explicitly selected, under Movies/Tdx Teleprompter/Downloads. Kuaishou video download is currently unavailable. Platform watermarks remain.
  • For multiple links, keep only one; for inaccessible content, check that it is still public. Retry network failures or use an authorized local file. Cancel stops the task and cleans unfinished temporary media.
  • Share text is parsed locally; only the normalized link is submitted for resolution. Media and recognized text are not uploaded for parsing. Saved scripts follow private-sync settings.
