Let’s look at the conclusion first
If Floating AI Follow offers a Remote phone microphone option, the other phone can scan the host QR code and explicitly enable its microphone. This path needs overlay permission on the host, but no host microphone or accessibility permission. The accessibility and host-microphone instructions below apply to local capture only.
"Restoring microphone" means that the current audio input has been interrupted and the app is trying to re-establish the connection. Common reasons are that the system temporarily recycles the microphone, other applications start recording, permissions are modified, or the Bluetooth audio device is switched.
Troubleshooting steps
- Wait a few seconds to avoid clicking continuously or switching pages frequently.
- End other recording, calling, conferencing, or camera apps that are using the microphone.
- Check the system microphone switch and microphone permission for Tdx Teleprompter.
- If you have just connected or disconnected a Bluetooth headset, wait for the system to complete audio routing switching before continuing to read.
- Pause and continue prompting; if it still does not resume, exit the current prompt page and re-enter the AI.
- Restart the app or device when it reoccurs, and submit feedback with the most recent diagnostic session.
Notice
When using Hover AI in the system camera, you also need to confirm that accessibility services are still turned on. Only when prompting at a constant speed, the microphone is not used, so this status will not be displayed.
