If Floating AI Follow offers a Remote phone microphone option, the other phone can scan the host QR code and explicitly enable its microphone. This path needs overlay permission on the host, but no host microphone or accessibility permission. The accessibility and host-microphone instructions below apply to local capture only.
The floating AI in the system camera relies on three capabilities at the same time: the floating window is responsible for display, the microphone is responsible for obtaining readings, and the accessibility service is responsible for maintaining floating AI-related links after leaving the application. First determine whether it is "the window cannot be seen" or "the window is visible but not read", and then check the corresponding part.
The window is completely invisible
- Confirm that Tdx Teleprompter can display over other apps.
- Restart the Floating Prompt from within the app, and then open the system camera.
- Check whether the window has been moved to the edge of the screen, or landed in an unfamiliar position due to horizontal and vertical screen changes.
- Check system power saving, background cleanup and security policies.
The window is visible but the AI does not follow the reading
- Confirm that the microphone permission is still allowed and the system microphone master switch is turned on.
- Confirm that the Tdx Teleprompter accessibility service is still enabled.
- Go back to the app and see if it says "Recovering microphone" or an AI preparation error.
- Some devices' cameras monopolize the recording input. Turn off camera recording, switch shooting modes, or switch to other compatible cameras for testing; when system limitations cannot be bypassed, use hovering constant speed or full-screen AI.
- Read continuously from the currently visible original, excluding the situation where there is sound but no matching.
Notice
Different devices, system versions, and third-party cameras have different restrictions on the simultaneous use of floating displays and microphones. The current version cannot guarantee that all combinations can use floating AI.
