Let’s look at the conclusion first
If Floating AI Follow offers a Remote phone microphone option, the other phone can scan the host QR code and explicitly enable its microphone. This path needs overlay permission on the host, but no host microphone or accessibility permission. The accessibility and host-microphone instructions below apply to local capture only.
When the Floating Prompt window does not appear, the most common reason is that the "Display on top of other applications" permission is not turned on or has been revoked by the system. First go back to the system settings to confirm the permissions, then go back to the app and restart it. Don't just search it repeatedly in the camera.
Check in order
- Return to Tdx Teleprompter and confirm that you selected floating rather than full-screen prompting.
- Open the system app settings or search for floating-window permission, then confirm that Tdx Teleprompter can display over other apps.
- Return to the app, stop the current suspended session and then restart it.
- Look around the screen; the window may be in the last saved position or close to the edge; also check the other side after rotating the screen.
- If battery saving, background restrictions, or security controls are enabled, allow Tdx Teleprompter to run normally and try again.
- Test the floating speed within the app first. If the constant speed shows up and only the AI is not working, continue checking the microphone and accessibility permissions.
Still not there
Restart the app or device before testing again. If the problem only occurs in a third-party application, it may be that the application or the system prohibits overlay display; you can change the system camera to verify, or use a full-screen prompt instead.
