Quick Start

Choose Full-screen, Floating or Capture Prompt

Use Full-screen to read, Floating with another camera app, or Capture Prompt to record inside this app.

Key point

Start Prompt offers Full-screen, Floating, and Capture Prompt on Android versions with these entries. Choose where to read and which app will record. Fixed-speed and AI Follow are separate choices that control how the text advances.

Choose for your setup

  • Full-screen: rehearse, give a speech, use a teleprompter rig, or let another device film you. This view does not record video. Fixed-speed needs no camera, microphone or overlay permission; AI Follow needs the permissions for its audio source.
  • Floating: place the script over your preferred camera or livestream app. That app starts and stops recording. Overlay permission is required; local-microphone Floating AI Follow also needs microphone permission and the accessibility service. Where offered, remote-phone audio follows its own permission flow.
  • Capture Prompt: record a talking-head video or tutorial inside Tdx Teleprompter. Camera and microphone permissions are required, but overlay and accessibility permissions are not. Lens, quality, beauty, grid and mirror options depend on device support.

Make your first recording

  1. Prepare a script, tap Start Prompt, and choose Capture Prompt.
  2. Allow camera and microphone access. Check the preview, lens and quality; adjust beauty, mirror and grid options as needed.
  3. Move and resize the prompt panel near the lens, set a readable font, and choose Fixed-speed or AI Follow.
  4. Start Prompt controls the text; Start Recording controls video. Operate them separately and confirm recording has started before your delivery. Make a short test first.
  5. Pausing the prompt does not stop recording. Finish with the recording control and wait for the result page.
  6. Preview picture and sound, then save to the gallery. Unexported recordings can be revisited in Video Drafts from the capture page or My. A private draft is not yet a gallery copy.

What appears in the video

Prompt text, focus line, grid and controls do not appear in the recorded video. Beauty and camera mirroring do affect the video. If beauty is unavailable, use the offered option to continue without it. AI Follow still requires the account, trial or membership checks and model preparation shown in the app. Third-party camera and livestream compatibility is not guaranteed.
