Do accessibility services read other app content?

No. The service does not read other app interfaces, simulate clicks, or record microphone audio.

Let’s look at the conclusion first

If Floating AI Follow offers a Remote phone microphone option, the other phone can scan the host QR code and explicitly enable its microphone. This path needs overlay permission on the host, but no host microphone or accessibility permission. The accessibility and host-microphone instructions below apply to local capture only.

The Tdx Teleprompter accessibility service is limited to floating AI Follow and its audio connection. It does not read other app content, collect input from other apps, simulate clicks or swipes, or operate another app for you.

Differences from other permissions

Each permission only affects the corresponding ability. You can turn off accessibility services at any time in the system settings; after turning it off, Hover AI will be unavailable, but full-screen AI and Hover Uniform can still be used with their respective permissions.

Privacy Statement

The accessibility service itself does not record audio. AI audio is controlled independently by microphone permissions and is handled natively on the device. Relevant diagnostic content may only leave the device if you actively select a diagnostic session and send it via the system sharing panel.
