Let’s look at the conclusion first
If Floating AI Follow offers a Remote phone microphone option, the other phone can scan the host QR code and explicitly enable its microphone. This path needs overlay permission on the host, but no host microphone or accessibility permission. The accessibility and host-microphone instructions below apply to local capture only.
AI Follow relies on local speech recognition on the device to determine where you are reading. After switching to AI, if you have not logged in yet, please follow the page prompts to complete the login and start the free trial; you need to be online when logging in and starting the experience. After entering the follow-up reading, recognition, matching and scrolling are all completed locally. The current session does not need to be continuously connected to the Internet, and documents or recordings will not be automatically uploaded.
Operation steps
- Open a script with complete text and enter full screen or Floating Prompt.
- Click the top mode switch to switch from "Constant Speed" to "AI".
- As prompted on the page, complete the login and start the free trial; this step requires an Internet connection.
- Start AI Follow and allow microphone permission. Floating AI Follow also requires the Tdx Teleprompter accessibility service.
- Keep the page open and wait for the native offline model to complete reading, initialization, warm-up, and real-time speed testing.
- After seeing "AI is ready", click to start prompting and read the text naturally and continuously from near the focus line.
- The text will move forward after a match is confirmed. "Waiting to speak" may appear during a brief pause, this is normal.
If not prepared to succeed
The page displays understandable reasons for failure, such as incomplete model files, insufficient memory, insufficient device processing speed, or recognition component initialization failure. You can try again at this time; if it still fails, switch back to the constant speed mode, and the basic teleprompter function will not be affected.
